Would be a 5 if some one knew how to control the water level. They started holding water 4 days before the rain. One of the best camp grounds on Bull Shoald and they keep it flooded every year lately..

Very close to where I live the only problems I had was it stormed there the whole weekend and when it wasnβt big loud trucks with boats rolled in, a couple even parked on my spot and I called the park attendant and she said she couldnβt do nothing unless they was parked in the drive way and the nearest ranger was an hour away... like I say it was fair but definitely not what I was expecting, we even left a day early because we couldnβt handle the storm and ended getting flooded out.

We had a great weekend. First time at this campground. Sites are spacious. Playground is nice. Be aware that water is split between two sites so bring a splitter and long enough water hoses. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic campground. Great view of lake from all campsites. Camp host if very friendly. Nice marina. Clean bathrooms. Water hookups are a little far for most sites, so bring plenty of hose. Good cell service. Lake floods often so only A loop and some of B loop is open and a lot of the pretty trees and picnic table roofs are gone. Nice playground.

Defintely needs updating like the rest of the Corps campgrounds. The area had not been mowed and leaves were 6" deep plus limbs and twigs all over. The gate attendant was very pleasant
