What Guests Are Saying
Lead Hill campground is well-maintained, clean, and offers a peaceful, beautiful setting with friendly staff, making it a favorite for many visitors. While some areas lack shade and certain amenities like showers and bathrooms could use improvement, the overall experience is positive, with many guests appreciating the scenic views and safety measures in place. Some concerns about maintenance and vehicle supervision were noted, but many reviews highlighted enjoyable stays and a desire to return.

Would be a 5 if some one knew how to control the water level. They started holding water 4 days before the rain. One of the best camp grounds on Bull Shoald and they keep it flooded every year lately..

Very close to where I live the only problems I had was it stormed there the whole weekend and when it wasn’t big loud trucks with boats rolled in, a couple even parked on my spot and I called the park attendant and she said she couldn’t do nothing unless they was parked in the drive way and the nearest ranger was an hour away... like I say it was fair but definitely not what I was expecting, we even left a day early because we couldn’t handle the storm and ended getting flooded out.

We always love camping here, the bathrooms were clean, the marina friendly, the water amazing, and the fellow campers very respectful and kind. The only reason why I wouldn’t write a review is because I want this place all to myself. Amazing.
