Clean sites. Quite nights. Lake was perfect. Caught plenty of fish more than I expected

Great place. Been going here all my life. Great feeling seeing my kids run around and ride bikes where I did as a kid.

Great place! Clean & well maintained with friendly people working!
The only problem is connectivity issues for zoom while trying to work online!

The campsite and facilities were well maintained. I would like to voice my displeasure with the camp host. Our group has been camping at Jefferson Ridge for nearly 20 years. It is a challenge every year to coordinate everyone's schedule and make this trip as most of us live 3+ hours away. I have been in guest service for 30 years, so when I experience bad guest service, I will speak up.
For all the years we have visited this landing, we drive down to the campsite, make sure everything is as expected, then go back to the host house and check-in. We did just that very thing this year, but we received an unpleasant visit from the camp host. The host acted annoyed that we did not check-in with him before driving down to our sites. I understand if this is the protocol and we can certainly adhere to it moving forward. But there is certainly another way to approach the situation rather than attempting to berate campers, especially campers who are on vacation and have traveled many miles.
I hope this review finds someone with clout.
Thank you.

Great camping spot, but not good for a boat, very shallow water.
