What Guests Are Saying
Hill Creek Park offers a peaceful camping experience with friendly hosts and well-maintained facilities, including a clean campground and daily restroom service. Guests appreciate the ample parking, boat ramp, and great AT&T service, making it an ideal spot for events like the eclipse. While some noted the distance to bathrooms and a need for beach maintenance, overall feedback highlights the campground's cleanliness, privacy, and enjoyable atmosphere.

We have always loved Hill Creek park but we hadn't been there is some years. When we arrived we found the park unkept. The trees around the right of way roads in the camp ground were in need of trimming to the point that the taller rvs would have to maneuver getting through them to avoid damage and the grounds themselves were shabby. Around the camp areas it was clear but beyond that you couldn't really see the beauty of the park because of the over grown under brush. The park attendant's place was even shabby looking. I couldn't believe it was the same park. The grass on the few open areas like around the dump station was almost a foot high. It definitely wasn't what we expected. But our stay in our lot was enjoyable, it was quiet there and the traffic was at a minimal. I hope that there are plans to do some work at Hill Creek. It's a beautiful place, it just needs some TLC.

Site maps are not accurate. I booked an end site & the site next to it showed 'unavailable for rental'. Perfect (I thought) during this pandemic. Was NOT at all what we planned. The so called 'unavailable site' was rented when we got there. The rv pads are so close together they are actually CONNECTED! So close that we could not extend the awning on our trailer. About 4-5 feet between our door & the other rv. Our trailer was backed up to their picnic table & outside area. NOT IDEAL FOR THE SOCIAL DISTANCING RECOMMENDATIONS! Nothing against our camping neighbors. They didn't seem thrilled to be packed sooooo close together either.

Good camping during the week. To many people on weekend.

The site that we had reserved was inaccessible. The caretaker of the campground could not even find the site.

It was by far the worst campground I have ever stayed at. The only good thing about it was the showers. The spots were hard to back into and a21 fire pit was located below the pad so I don’t know how many times I fell just to go to the grill and table.

It was more growed up than in year's past. Grass needed to be mowed badly.
