Our camping experience was wonderful at Shady Oaks Campground in Harrison, Ar. The place is just so relaxing. Upon arriving we were met by T. He walked us into the office and helped us check in. So nice after a long travel day through the mountains. He made us feel welcome. He even brought us some ice and firewood ! Then we met CC shortly after who just noticed our little dog and she came by to say hi and welcome us. So sweet! Throughout our stay it seemed like both CC and T never stopped working around the grounds. Speaking of the grounds, it’s really beautiful. Lots of shade trees! The beeeze was wonderful to listen through the leaves. The surrounding area has a lot to offer. We enjoyed hiking Twin Falls and picking fruit at a local U-Pick Farm. I highly suggest you give Shady Oaks Campground your business! I know we sure will again!

Wonderful location! South side of Harrison. Perfect respite after a scenic Rt 7 tour. Easy website registration. Easy pricing. Very clean toilet/shower facilities. We used a pull-thru camper site. Small cabins and tent sites are available. Water, tank dump, 30/50A power at each site. Stayed there 16 years ago while motorcycle camping.

Me and my 5 kids, my sister her boyfriend and two kids stayed here for the Fourth of July week. We had a blast. Johanna is a great manager and does a great job running the campsite. I can’t wait to go back. It is also very kid friendly. My kids loved the playground. It has a very rustic and outdoorsy atmosphere to it. Which was one of my favorite things about staying there. Thank you for making sure that we had a great time.

We had a great stay at the park, it was very quiet and everyone was very nice and helpful. It has recently been bought and changed I'm sure are coming. We loved our spot #28! It's off season so campground was pretty empty. Nice trail in the wooded area, my dogs loved! Johanna and Rocky were very pleasant and most helpful!
New owner should consider updating bathhouses and laundry facility. Bigger dog park for large dogs would be great!
We would definitely come back!! Oh and this is just for info, driveway is tricky coming out, as you are between 2 curves (pay close attention) not the owners fault by any means! We rode our motorcycle and e-bikes, beautiful countryside without a doubt!!! We didn't see Ruth or Marty, this was disappointing! IYKYK🤣🤣❣️❣️

This is a great RV park in a great location, about 10 min South of Harrison and approximately 20 minutes north of Jasper. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have a 29' camper and it was *tight* to get into our spot, but the staff was very helpful in helping us navigate the wooded lots. Full hook ups available and room for our kids tent. Plenty of shade. Clean bathrooms and showers available. Fun games and playground for the kids. WiFi was strong and fast enough to stream TV shows/movies. They normally have LP gas refills available on site but were not yet up and running after a change in ownership. Similarly, normally there is bagged ice available on site but the machine was awaiting repairs/parts. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
