Sugar Loaf is a well-loved camping destination known for its beautiful views of Greer's Ferry Lake and the nearby Sugar Loaf Mountain. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the bathrooms, and the helpfulness of the staff, especially the gate attendant. While some campers note the need for updates to the sites and grounds, many express their intention to return due to the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyable swimming and kayaking experiences.

Site was very tight with trees near entrance to site. On website I thought I saw a restroom next to my site but was actually was located 8 sites away. (water fountain was next to site) # 25 , No access to lake close to site, Sheer cliffs and Marinas full of houseboats on our side of park with no access to water if not owner of a boat stored there .Beach and boat launch on opposite side of campground. Wife & I are seniors with slight disabilitys . Park was level for the most part. Beautiful scenery and gorgeous view of Sugar Loaf mtn from beach. First time there so did not know layout of park. If we go again will camp on opposite side of park in area C, larger sites, closer to accessable lake.
