I had lots of fun at the campsite. I do wish the bathrooms had soap dispensers. A friend lost her phone and someone returned it to the gatehouse and the man there was so nice and we were able to get the phone back. I even got a shirt he had laying around due to my love for opossums!

We ended up leaving a day early because the ticks were insane. We could not even walk out from the camper to the picnic table without them getting on us- seems like you could spray for them. Very unpleasant

The park needs updating. The sites are unlevel and have significant holes and hills that make it difficult to level up. Most of them the picnic tables are on the back side of the sites, water on the sites would be nice.

I don’t believe there are any dry counties in that part of AR any longer. Enjoyed the fish hatchery and the big cowboy store in Clinton. The trip to Scotland was a waste of gas as the drive through conservation area was not well marked and hard to find.

Our family had booked 3 different camp sites for 22 of us, ages rage from 9 months to 76 years old. We enjoyed the peace and quite.

Our camp site had a great view of the lake! It was clean and had a large space to park to park our boat. Unfortunately ,there were so many people
camping and boating that the launch site was extremely busy and very little room to park even with the overflow! The swim beach was nice but
they had not spread the sand out. I was just sitting there in bid mounds! It would have been a lot more comfortable to have it spread out over the concrete area as a beach area.

we won't come here again. If you didn't have a boat, you basically had nothing to do. No fishing allowed, no hiking anywhere unless you drove. Camp sites too close together. Thankfully we had amazing neighbors and had a wonderful time.
