Hot Springs Off-Road Park

My husband and I came here for the 2-hour guided side by side off-roading adventure. It was a blast. I’m not generally an outdoorsy person, but the scenery and tour guide made it a very positive experience. We had Matt and he was super knowledgeable and I could tell he took his job seriously. He would wait at trickier spots to make sure all the side by sides were still with him and called out guidance on the walkie talkies when necessary.

My husband drove the 2-seater side by side and I was a passenger princess. He was laughing and whooping and overall having a great time. My husband wishes we could have done a more challenging trail at the end, but I’m certainly not complaining.

Little tip, if you’re in a larger body, make sure the seat is all the way back before buckling in! Those couple inches make all the difference.

My wife and I went to this location during spring break 2026 for a ride in the morning. We had a great time exploring the vast mountain trails and terrain on side by side UTV for two hours. One thing we forgot is gloves. The cold air was brutal on bare hands, but the cold trip was still worth it. Our guide Josh was a great guide with some old history about the mountains.

what a great park the trails are awesome. The signage is top-notch. I stayed in one of the cabins in the Shire and it was rustic but everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful the whole week. Definitely a place we want to come back to.

Great Park. The staff are very welcoming and helpful getting you started on your first visit. Office has lots of last minute items you may have forgotten to pack as well as cold drinks and souvenirs. Trails are pretty accurately marked so it's easy to have a fun and enjoyable time without going past your limits or capabilities. Campgrounds look to be well kept as an option for the extended stay. Great place to have close to home.

Great trails, friendly staff! The only issue we had was the campsite 50 amp did not run our 2 ac units without throwing a main breaker outside on their breaker box. Otherwise, great time, some very challenging trails!
