Our time at Kirby Landing was wonderful. We chose to come after school was back in session so there were fewer campers. We saw many species of birds - including eagles - and saw many deer beside the main road! This campground was well maintained with clean bathhouses. The lake here is picturesque with clean, cool water. There was a bulk ice machine very close by on the highway and the Kirby Quick Stop served up ice cream specialties, along with a short order grill. We liked that it is centrally located to Caddo River at Glenwood, Albert Pike on the Little Missouri River and many nature trails. They have a place to park your ORV trailer and get on those trails, if you are into that. We also took a day trip to Hot Springs (about 50 mi) and enjoyed that very much. We will stay at Kirby again.

Very nice bath house. Some of the camp sights need trash picked up. We always try to pickup trash while walking around the camp grounds. The grills need cleaning.
