What Guests Are Saying
Kirby Landing is a beautiful and peaceful campground with well-maintained facilities and spacious sites, perfect for family gatherings and relaxation by the lake. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the helpfulness of the staff, making it a favorite destination for many. While some improvements are needed, such as more trash cans and better maintenance for water hoses and RV pads, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

My son, grandson and I spent three nights last week and it was great as usual. The weather had changed so the mornings were a little cool but not real cold. We had a nice time.
Only negative was the last morning the power went off for a couple hours.

Great spot close to water. Having trash cans near by is a plus and they came and dumped it on a daily basis. We look forward to staying at Kirby again.

Campsites are clean and spacious and the whole park was neat and clean. The lake was very low but fishable.

The bath house could use AC unit, like a mini split unit. Y’all could consider putting a shower unit at Old Cowhide Cove.

Absolutely perfect. It was so quiet and roomy. The lake wasn’t covered with boats like the lakes closer to us. For sure has became our favorite spot.

Wonderful campground. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. The campground host and park ranger were very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the breaker box. It was quickly addressed and fixed.

Site 13 East was okay but provided zero shade for our camper during the hottest part of the day. We will probably pick a different site next time. Too narrow for us to fit small camper and boat with vehicles and a tent. Site does have trees close enough for 3 hammocks. Bathrooms are air-conditioned and clean. Mixed thoughts on the showers. Best shower is closest to the men’s bathroom. Worst is on the women’s side left had no hot water and the right had very low water pressure. Nice swimming area and close to boat launch. Grass was mowed the next day after our arrival. The breaker tripped several times during the heat but not sure if it was our camper or the electrical box.
