What Guests Are Saying
Kirby Landing is a beautiful and peaceful campground with well-maintained facilities and spacious sites, perfect for family gatherings and relaxation by the lake. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the helpfulness of the staff, making it a favorite destination for many. While some improvements are needed, such as more trash cans and better maintenance for water hoses and RV pads, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

I love staying at Kirby landing but this last trip left a lot to be desired , there were 5 camp sites of people from Texas they had water hoses running from one campsite to a campsite that no one had rented but they were using it to wash off their ATVs they were riding them , were loud and partying late at night keeping people awake letting their big dogs run from camp to camp not on a leash the camp host does nothing he never was even seen during my stay . there needs to be a camp host that does at least will go tell people their dogs need to be on a leash and when quite hours are and they are only suppose to be using one water system unless they have that campsite rented.

This is a great site for views of the lake, the only downside is if you park your trailer east to west you will have no shade in the early afternoon or evening

We were in spot #85 and it was perfect. Wide enough for 2 trailers so we had lots of room. Friendly staff, very clean, great 5 days.

Space 34 is our favorite camping spot! It's close to the trails and it is large enough to fit our truck, camper and trailer plus an extra vehicle if we need it!

Our favorite lake, would be nice if the CORP would address the non working blinking lights on the buoys. Especially in Kirby landing east by the boat ramp. We come in after dark all the time and is a safety issue not being able to see them. Also, the buzzard problem! Our pontoon was tore up and they pooped everywhere. Took a while to clean everything and have cushions repaired. Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

Decent cell service for Verizon, 3 steady bars. Can fit large motorhome or fifth wheel with extra parking. Take it slow and easy on gravel driveway, due to wash out. Not good signage at park, campground map most useful. Good lake view/access to beach park boat. Only afternoon shade.

Stayed at Kirby landing to do some fishing and hunting nearby. Campsite was great and the host were friendly. Had an issue with my power and contacted the head office. I had someone out there very quickly and he checked the power supply. It ended up being my camper. But it was a quick fix after he left. They were definitely on top of things quickly. Great experience for the whole trip.
