Not a great place for OTA TV or cell coverage. The lake is looking like it's drying up. There is a motel on site with a marina. Looks like a great place for boating and fishing. Shower/bathrooms are in good shape. Parking is on gravel with some leveling needed. Town of Glenwood is where we shopped for groceries and they have tow decent laundromats if needed. The Caddow River is also in the town of Glenwood if you like to canoe or kayak. We probably won't be back to this campground.

Park was clean, well-maintained and had all necessary amenities. Our site was a pull-thru with easy access to the swimming area. Photos on the reservation site made selection easy. Park staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Shopping and dining in nearby Murphreesboro was fun. The water level is about 9 ft low right now, but the lake is still great for boating, fishing and swimming.

We stopped at Kirby Landing for an overnight stay only. We had a spot that was easy in/easy out and perfectly level. Just what we needed after a long day on the road. We had a nice catfish dinner at the Fish Nest in Glenwood.
