The only problem is the lake had not been mowed. The grass was really high and just looked bad. I love Kirby landing. Please mow so we don’t have to wade grass and look for snakes.

We left a day early and haven’t been refunded for that night. Don’t like that they don’t hang the paper with your name and check out date anymore.

We have stayed at Westin Point several times, and it has become one of our go-to places. This past experience wasn’t as pleasant. I was shocked at how overgrown the campsites were. We loved watching for deer in the past, but the tall fields prohibited that for sure. Because our site was so overgrown we found several ticks on us. I’m also disappointed that the cell service is so sketchy.

The grass needs mowed BADLY. They contract somebody to clean the bathrooms and trash cans, and you have to find a trash can that’s empty to throw away your trash. The app is awful too. We accidentally stayed an extra day because it looked like we had it reserved. We did not. I don’t normally do reviews, but we love camping here and wish it was better!

We had site 6 which is away from the water. We were riding atvs on bear creek trail. Everything was just as we wanted. It all went well

This is a very roomy site with a sewer connection. Very helpful when we stay for a week or more. And it is close to the water where our barge is parked.

Grass should have been cut BEFORE a major holiday. IT WASN"T. Mowers should up Thursday and mowed a little and then it was quitting time. Came back on Tuesday to finish up as we were packing up to go home. I don't know how they are scheduled but the grass SHOULD be cut ahead of a major weekend.

From Hot Springs, Arkansas, take Highway 70 west to Kirby Landing Access Road. Turn left and continue into the campground.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Reservations are required with a confirmation number before setting up.
- Check-in is at 6:00 pm and check-out is at 4:00 pm.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Cancellation policy
- Notify the office if arriving over 24 hours late to avoid cancellation and fees.
Utilities
- Dumping gray water is prohibited; use the designated dump station instead.
Safety & rules
- Dispose of all garbage and trash in receptacles daily; do not use fire rings or hang trash.
- Keep your campsite clean and remove all personal items before leaving.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- During peak season, the maximum stay is 14 days with no extensions allowed.
Pets
- Keep pets caged or leashed, never unattended, and dispose of waste properly.
