We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights in late May. Sites have nice proximity to the lake, with good views. It rains a lot during the late Spring, so the sites tend to flood and may be muddy. Bathrooms were clean with warm showers. There are several trails for OHV or bike riding, that are accessible from the campground. Overall, it was a really nice campground and we would definitely come back.

So impressed with the cleanliness of the campgrounds! The crew does an EXCELLENT job every day! The rangers are super nice and friendly, Concerning reservations , WHY? Is only fair for everybody to have the same chances as everyone else that isn’t able to get online at the precise to do so, for the prime spots is always the same people getting them . Would be great to just drive up and be lucky enough to get one . Just seems so unfair with the reserved spots . Other than that , we love coming to GREESON and always camp at Kirby Landing .

I have been going to Lake Greeson since I was in high school. That's over 30 years. Kirby has always been my choice for camping and recreation. Very clean area and the Corp of Engineers keep it up well and are even making some improvements.
The lake is gorgeous and you will never be disappointed camping at KIRBY!

We have been RVing & boating at Kirby for years! Our favorite place! Only thing that would make it better if they opened more sites! Hard to get unless you’re lucky enough to remember & reserve in time
