Lakeview Park

The site was wonderful, best in the park. Everything was great, nice and clean.

What a beautiful, quiet spot! Mike was a real treasure helping us with the awning when we had problems. I just want to be there, looking at the water and relaxing.

Nice park, lots of space and shaded. Level and wide couldn’t ask for anything better.

Clean comfortable. Safe quiet. Easy going friendly helpful. Beautiful. Fun day off from work! Coworkers got together to have BBQ with family and friends. It was simple to make reservations. Bonus was when Park Ranger came by to help us. He explained when we rented the Pavilion with electric...includes 12 FREE day passes for parking. Only thing we'd do different...stay longer! Recommend playing down at the swimming area until sunset. Park. Sand. Water. Also...DG is around the corner. If you forget something like we did...plastic silverware and a lighter for charcoal. Takes 5 mins. No big deal. Most surprising thing...AC in the restrooms! Real bathroom accommodations with shower options. Much appreciated! Thank you for showing us a good time. Had the best day.

Clean and spacious. Nice swimming area, the lake water is clear.

I stayed in Area A of the campground. My site was close to the shower house/bathroom, which was nice. It was also up the hill from the docks and marina on the lake. One downside is that this part of the campground had less shade and was difficult for my friend because of the hills to climb if you walk anywhere. Over by Area B and C, you will find a swimming area and ramp down in the lake. Those two areas are also much flatter and have more shade--and if you prefer a little more isolation, you'll find it in area B and C. There are numerous deer in the area and other small wildlife. The campsites in Area A do have at least a slight view of the lake, with a couple of the sites having a fantastic view. Some of the sites are made for 2 campers to park side by side, which would be great for families traveling together. Some even have bench seating around and metal covered roofs over the picnic tables. Other than the unbearable heat, which is of course no fault of the campsite, it was a great place to rest and relax away from home. The Corps of Engineer parks continue to impress me as they are well taken care of and very nice.

We love camping at Lakeview, its peaceful and all of the rangers are friendly. We camp there about 3 times a year. Never a problem with anything. And Bull Shoals Lake is so beautiful. I absolutely would recommend to anyone who loves camping.

We have been doing an annual visit to Lakeview campground for the past 10 years. We love how nice and clean it is. The restrooms are always spotless and the camp host are super nice. Really nice having a marina right there too.
