I stayed in Area A of the campground. My site was close to the shower house/bathroom, which was nice. It was also up the hill from the docks and marina on the lake. One downside is that this part of the campground had less shade and was difficult for my friend because of the hills to climb if you walk anywhere. Over by Area B and C, you will find a swimming area and ramp down in the lake. Those two areas are also much flatter and have more shade--and if you prefer a little more isolation, you'll find it in area B and C. There are numerous deer in the area and other small wildlife. The campsites in Area A do have at least a slight view of the lake, with a couple of the sites having a fantastic view. Some of the sites are made for 2 campers to park side by side, which would be great for families traveling together. Some even have bench seating around and metal covered roofs over the picnic tables. Other than the unbearable heat, which is of course no fault of the campsite, it was a great place to rest and relax away from home. The Corps of Engineer parks continue to impress me as they are well taken care of and very nice.

We love camping at Lakeview, its peaceful and all of the rangers are friendly. We camp there about 3 times a year. Never a problem with anything. And Bull Shoals Lake is so beautiful. I absolutely would recommend to anyone who loves camping.

We have been doing an annual visit to Lakeview campground for the past 10 years. We love how nice and clean it is. The restrooms are always spotless and the camp host are super nice. Really nice having a marina right there too.

We have been coming to Lakeview for 10 years straight now. Beautiful campgrounds. Bathrooms are always spotless and camp host are very friendly and welcoming. Will give it a 10 out of 10.

Getting There
From Mountain Home, Arkansas, take State Route 5 north for 6 mi to Midway. Turn left on State Route 178 and follow for 7 mi to Lakeview. Turn right on Boat Dock Road and follow signs into the campground.
Highway access
Lakeview Park is accessible via State Route 5 and State Route 178. The nearest major road is US Highway 62, located approximately 15 miles to the north.

- Campground attendants are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- One RV and one tent or two tents per site.
- Off-road vehicles not permitted.
- Livestock not permitted.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
