The campsites were great and having the air conditioned bathroom on-site was awesome, especially during the time we were there because it was so hot. The camp host was friendly when we arrived, but the 2nd night we were there (his day off), he came down and went off on us!! We were watching a movie outside, and I'll be the first to admit the volume was up really loud, but he came down a little after 10:00 and went off on us, screaming for us to turn it off because it was quiet time. He called our group a bunch of disrespectful Kansans and just kept going on and on. You could tell he had been drinking and we didn't argue with him at all. We turned the movie off and everyone went to their campers for the night. We realize it was quiet time and all he would've had to do was kindly ask us to turn it down or off, and we would've obliged, but the way he handled the situation was uncalled for in my opinion. I'm not sure if he's treated other campers this way before, but I would hope someone would talk to him about how to better handle situations like this, or find someone else to be the camp host at this site. He completely avoided us for remainder of our stay and other than this incident, we all had a good time. The owners/operators of the marina were super nice and accommodating to our group and it was very nice to have the marina at this location.

Campsites and marina were awesome. The water was beautiful. The camp host on the other hand was intoxicated one night and was rude and insulting.

We were uncertain about reservations as campground closed due to high lake levels until the day we were due to arrival. Camp host very good at keeping us updated on progress during the closure and he was absolutely wonderful with helpful suggestions and checking on us during our stay. Probably one of the best camp hosts we have ever had. The sites on B Loop were large and shaded. Even though temps were over 100 nearly every day of our stay we were still able to be outside for most of the day. We will definitely return here. WiFi reception is sketchy at best so don't expect to be able to use your cell phones (we had AT&T and Verizon). Texts went thru about 75% of time. Great clean hot showers.

Despite extreme temperatures (high as 108), this was a wonderful experience. Camp Host was awesome. He made us feel as if we were the only campers in the park.
Bathrooms were clean and well maintained! We plan on returning very soon!
