Piney Bay is a beautiful setting with plenty of area to walk or ride a bike. It's very well taken care of. You're close enough to town, but far enough out that it feels secluded. Lovely place to camp.

This park is very easy to get to. Good paved roads the entire route, free of limbs or other camper getters. The park itself is easy to navigate due to signage with clear directions. The boat ramps are easy to access and parking is plentiful. There is a dollar general within a few minutes drive. This is definitely a campground to visit.

I like this park however a couple things I didn’t like during this visit. There was a couple in the park that wanted to fight while they were there, causing a disturbance and even though the hosts were made aware the COE didn’t seem to be interested. A plan needs to be in place for the host when personnel isn’t available to help with the situations. I would’ve personally called the sheriff. IDK. I left without knowing the outcome. I’m not going to let one couple that interrupted others people time Keep me from coming to this park. I have camped here before without any incident and I’m hoping this was just a rare occurrence.
Disappointed in the cleaning crew. They did not clean. I saw them carry the broom into the restrooms one time, but I don’t think they used it. If you shower, wear your rubber shoes. You might want to carry your own toilet paper and cleaning wipes.

From London, Arkansas, take US-64 west for 3 mi to State Route 359 north. Continue for 3.5 mi and follow signs into the campground.
Highway access
Piney Bay is accessible via US-64, located approximately 3 miles to the south, and State Route 359, which connects directly to the campground.

- NOTICE: Group shelters are open for reservations, Please follow all CDC/State guidelines for social distancing, sanitizing, and face covering for COVID-19. NOTE: A special event application is required for any event including, but not limited to one or more of the following: 1. An entry, spectator, or participating fee is charged 2. If you have an anticipated attendance of 100 or more persons 3. An extraordinary impact on project resources is expected 4. Corps personnel provide additional patrols, surveillance, refuse collection, and/or crowd control 5. Event involves the use of concession tents and/or vendors 6. Event involves Bounce Houses/Bump N Jump Inflatables 7. Fishing Tournament 8. Music FestivalIn addition to the special event application, you may be asked to submit the following information before approval can be granted: (1) proof of liability insurance; (2) event details & description; (3) schedule of events; (4) parking plans.PROHIBITED: Please note that livestock, exotic animals, explosives, loaded projectile firing devices, piatas, water balloons, and commercial activities are prohibited on project lands unless written permission has been received from the District Commander. If commercial tents are permitted for your special event, please note that driving tent stakes into concrete or asphalt on project lands is prohibited. For additional information regarding Special Event Applications & Permit Fees, please contact the Russellville Project Office at (501) 340-1762.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
