We had a great stay at Rocky Branch. We took 2 of our youngest Grand kids and they had a great time! The swam and fished and we did walking/bike rides daily! But the campsites are run down and you guys need to keep them up! 4 campsites around the water are non campable! Do better Corps of Engineer!

Nice swim area, beautiful view of the lake, spacious camp spots. We’ll be camping there again. Don’t forget the bug spray though- lots of ticks.

We love Piney Bay! As a kid, my mom and grandma would take my sister and I swimming every summer there. Lots of great memories.

Camp host is HORRIBLE. Has terrible manners, rude and extremely uninviting. I usually boost about this place to go camp but have since started diverting people to other areas because of the poor experience created by the camp host. He drives around on his little motorcycle harassing and passing micro aggression every opportunity he gets. 0/10 if I could. I’ll just go to long pool next time.

Have been here more than 11 times to count just on my reservation list- not counting the times I have reserved as a guest or camped with someone else who made the reservation. Love the facilities but the campground host makes it NO FUN. Why have a fun outdoor recreational outlet and a TERRIBLE campground host. Camp host is HORRIBLE. it's always good at piney bay, the campsites are very good, the fishing and playing in the water is always good,

Over all the park and the attendant were excellent but the issue was with the web site and the customer service # at the how office. When we got to the park we realized that the web site did state that there was no water hook up. After talking to the attendant we tried to call the Gov.com site and we couldn't get through. He said I need to go ahead and buy another site because people were buying them as fast as they are cancelled so I did. He stated they would give my money back. I was on hold for 2 and a half hours and never got anyone. I finally got on the web page and chatted on line. They only gave me half of my money back because I went ahead and paid for another site. I told them if they would have answered their phone I wouldn't have.

Piney Bay is accessible via US-64, located approximately 3 miles to the south, and State Route 359, which connects directly to the campground.

- NOTICE: Group shelters are open for reservations, Please follow all CDC/State guidelines for social distancing, sanitizing, and face covering for COVID-19. NOTE: A special event application is required for any event including, but not limited to one or more of the following: 1. An entry, spectator, or participating fee is charged 2. If you have an anticipated attendance of 100 or more persons 3. An extraordinary impact on project resources is expected 4. Corps personnel provide additional patrols, surveillance, refuse collection, and/or crowd control 5. Event involves the use of concession tents and/or vendors 6. Event involves Bounce Houses/Bump N Jump Inflatables 7. Fishing Tournament 8. Music FestivalIn addition to the special event application, you may be asked to submit the following information before approval can be granted: (1) proof of liability insurance; (2) event details & description; (3) schedule of events; (4) parking plans.PROHIBITED: Please note that livestock, exotic animals, explosives, loaded projectile firing devices, piatas, water balloons, and commercial activities are prohibited on project lands unless written permission has been received from the District Commander. If commercial tents are permitted for your special event, please note that driving tent stakes into concrete or asphalt on project lands is prohibited. For additional information regarding Special Event Applications & Permit Fees, please contact the Russellville Project Office at (501) 340-1762.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
