What Guests Are Saying
Piney Bay Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with spacious, clean campsites near the water, making it ideal for relaxation and family activities. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean restrooms, and beautiful views, particularly for fishing and kayaking. While some sites may have leveling issues and occasional noise from nearby boats and trains, the overall experience is positive, with many campers planning to return.

Park was good, but due to other campers walking through our site to get to water and swimming where we were trying to fish instead of going to the swim beach pretty much made our stay bad.

We reserved a 40feet space for our class A. When we got there, we found out the place was very narrow with sharp turn. There was no way we could park our RV. Then we tried to boondock there, but we couldn’t find a flat parking space. The parking lot was on a hill. We had to leave and spent a night in nearby private RV parking place.

Bring your own firewood as there is none for sale on site. The trading post about a mile south of the park entrance does sell firewood, however the park volunteers will not tell you this.

Been coming to Piney Bay for years, always nice clean campsites. Nice swimming area, fun on the water. Would like to see more sites with water spickets.
