The overall experience was very pleasing. The booking - the trip - the check in - the facilities - everything was non stress. Especially the lady in the office. Very friendly. The only complaint that we had was too many flies and bugs and the heat and humidity. We know that cannot be the Corps of Engineers fault. Just throwing some shade your way. Thanks for a great camping facility. The Norfork River is beautiful as always. Keep up the good work.

Very nice campground, very clean . We were away from the river, I think a spot closer to the river would have been nicer. We couldn't get any on air tv and our at&t cell phones barely worked in the park. Very nice lady at the check-in helped us get our senior pass that saved us money on this trip and will save us all year, thank you! We will be back to this campground.

Since we had never been to Damsite-Quarry campground we only reserved one night. When I checked in the lady that was on duty, Michelle was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She assured me we would enjoy the site that I had reserved. She's also informed me that one of the most requested sites in the campground was becoming available the next day if we wanted to extend our stay. She was right, we enjoyed the site. It was clean, quiet and located conveniently. We checked the other site she recommended and reserved it. Next day, she called to let us know when the current occupants left and inform us we could move to that site. I really appreciate it that and thought it was above and beyond. After moving I discovered that I had left our doormat at the first sight. I called the office and requested that the cleanup crew bring it to the new site. Michelle informed me she had no communication with the cleanup crew but would try to get in touch with them. After work Michelle went to our first site picked up the door mat and brought it to our second site. The second site was also very clean, quiet and very close to the river. We will always have fond memories of this trip because of her.
