We found the host and other support personnel extremely helpful and nice. We had a site on the edge of the river and the other campers around us were great. The facility is really clean and hookups were in great condition.

I am new to the area. The camp hosts (Mr. and Mrs. Volk) were excellent. They did much more than just take my fees. They helped me change my campsite to one that I preferred. The entire campground was pristine clean. Clean water, showers and restrooms were close and available. Fees were reasonable. Quality trout fishing was only a few yards away. The marina and boat launch for lake Norfolk was less than a mile away for bass fishing.
If I were to suggest any improvement, it would be for a wheelchair accessible dock. I am okay, but I know others that are not. I would also recommend a fish cleaning station. Cleaning fish in the river is handy, but promotes the growth of air guzzling, tackle stealing grasses.

Beautiful park. We stayed in site 60. We booked not expecting to have water but were pleasantly surprised that the upgrade was already done. Just watch for sticker burrs if you have a dog.

Excellent campground on the Norfork that I use frequently. The check-in staff are always a joy to interact with and helpful. Not sure why the pandemic procedures require you to book everything on-line this year when the State Park Campgrounds still have staff available to handle walk-up reservations, and the staff are there on-site as normal who could handle everything on-site.
