Site #58 was very nice. It overlooks the tail waters & very picturesque with the fog & sunsets. Campground in general was very clean. I would give 5 stars but bath house was in some need of upgrades (very poor water pressure & exhaust fans didn't seem to work).

This camping at Dam Quarry Park was the first time I have seen the overflow. It look like snow coming down the dam. The fish hatchery is a must see there. It is just across the road from the park. The town of Norfork is just a few miles from the park. There's history there. Mountain Home is less than 10 miles from the park. Places to eat and shop.

We love camping here. The camp hosts are very helpful and take care of problems as soon as possible. All of the sights are nice and well maintained. We try and camp once in the spring and again in the fall so my husband can fish. Whispering Woods Grill is a great place to eat, especially if you can sit outside and take in the view. Heidis Ugly Cakes is great too. Visit the fishery while you are camping and hit the Y in Salesville for a milk shake. Then walk the paved road around the campground to burn some calories!
