The site was very nice, grass was nicely cut, everything was wonderful. I wish that the weather man would have cooperated a little more. It was wet.

Volunteer gatehouse staff Catherine and Jay are both really nice hosts. The campground is always in need of maintenance upgrade to the shower houses specifically the main building. It hasn’t been overhauled in years. Grass is always too high and campsites aren’t always kept tidy by contracted staff. Fires rings need cleaning out some need replacement. All sites are not year round frost proof water spigots. Staff has told me the uninstalled spigots are in the maintenance shed.

The park attendants were very nice. It was quiet and peaceful., considering that we were there on Arkansas 'Free fishing weekend' the park was full. The Bathrooms needed some attention, spider haven. The grass needed cut.

Dam site camping was great as usual, had a restful time. Just recommend that they cut the grass fields like they use to do, it looked so much better.

Quiet location with spots directly on the North Fork of the White River at the base of the dam. It was a very relaxing week!
