Dam - Quarry

We were right on the river. It was incredible. The first day, the showers were warm. Every day after that, they were cold only. That's the only bad/unpleasant thing about our trip.

Beautiful campground. Restrooms and swhowers are cleaned well. Nice hosts.

We had a great stay at this campground! The sites were clean and well maintained, and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest we've seen. It was a safe, family-friendly place where the kids had plenty of room to ride bikes and play. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and everyone was friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe campground for the whole family. The park attendants are super sweet and great people

We usually camp here, at least once a year. This year we were very disappointed in the condition of the park as a whole. The grass or should I say weeds were so over grown it was sad. We had several campsites worth of people there with several kids, they had no where to play and be kids due to weeds so over grown. Then when grass is so tall it causes bugs to be bad. The first 3 days we were there several of the bathrooms were closed. Overall a very disappointing trip.

Dam Quarry is an excellent choice for camping and it’s a plus when you can stay on the river side

Was very clean reasonable price and had a good view. Water was to cold to swim but was only 20 mins from lake nor fort swimming area not to bad

A beautiful park if the grass had been mowed. The man that works in office is racist to people with tattoos. Right before I ask for helped he helped our neighbor. Our neighbor was telling us to go talk to the attendant he said just helped me with same thing so I did and he told me he couldn’t help me then my husband goes to talk to him which he was supposed to to be in the office but he found him in his camper but my husband ask same thing and he told him he couldn’t help even though he helped our neighbor right beside us with no tats just like 30mins before we went for help. He also had a sign that posted his office hours clearly but most of time he was in his camper. If it had not been for these hiccups we’d enjoyed the park and five stars would’ve been awarded. The park is beautiful I’m sure even more so when it’s mowed. Not much cell service.

The area is very peaceful and relaxing! Can’t wait to go back.

This has become one of our favorite campgrounds. The camp hosts are great, the sites are level, and bathrooms are always clean. We love watching the fog as we drink coffee by the fire.
