Was very clean reasonable price and had a good view. Water was to cold to swim but was only 20 mins from lake nor fort swimming area not to bad

A beautiful park if the grass had been mowed. The man that works in office is racist to people with tattoos. Right before I ask for helped he helped our neighbor. Our neighbor was telling us to go talk to the attendant he said just helped me with same thing so I did and he told me he couldn’t help me then my husband goes to talk to him which he was supposed to to be in the office but he found him in his camper but my husband ask same thing and he told him he couldn’t help even though he helped our neighbor right beside us with no tats just like 30mins before we went for help. He also had a sign that posted his office hours clearly but most of time he was in his camper. If it had not been for these hiccups we’d enjoyed the park and five stars would’ve been awarded. The park is beautiful I’m sure even more so when it’s mowed. Not much cell service.

This has become one of our favorite campgrounds. The camp hosts are great, the sites are level, and bathrooms are always clean. We love watching the fog as we drink coffee by the fire.

We usually only stay on sites on the riverside. But this was a last minute trip and sites were limited. Stayed on site 26. I have a 42’ Montana. Was very easy to back into the site. Site had plenty of shade. Site was well maintained. Fire pit ashes had been removed and the grass recently mowed. The grass in the gravel area had also been sprayed. Bath house was clean like we normally find them at the COE parks in the area.

Great place. Good people. Need to put the hand soap back in the restrooms. Kinda gross not having soap to wash your hands after using the toilet.

Getting There
From Mountain Home, AR, take State Route 5 south 14 mi to Salesville,
then turn left on State Route 177 for 2 mi. Park is located below
Norfolk Dam. Follow signs into the campground.

- No livestock at this facility
- No firearms allowed
