We checked out the marina, camping and cabins. Seems to be a very well maintained park. I spoke to camper about the park WiFi. Unsecured network, but he has no issues with streaming YouTube tv. AT&T cell service poor to non existent. Restrooms and showers very clean.

Beautiful trails and clear water. We stayed in a camper cabin that comes with only a queen size bed, bunk beds, a table with 2 benches, a bedside table with a lamp, a tall table we used for our snacks and coffee maker, and a low bench for your bags. It has a screened porch with chairs and a table. Also, a water faucet, picnic table, grill and fire ring outside. The setting was beautiful and we hiked everyday. Bathrooms with showers were clean and about a two minute walk from our cabin which was the furthest one away. Hot Springs is only about a 20 minute drive and Lake Catherine State Park was close.

We came for basically a 24 hour trip and fell in love with this place. We stayed in the fully equipped cabins and needles to say we will be going back and making this a tradition. The cabin was better than we could have ever imagined, spacious, clean and with a beautiful scenic view.

Very beautiful, calm. It has many camping sites nearby and I would recommend camping here for the best experience.
We did camping for 2 days. Had a great time at the lake side

Very nice state park.
Campsites are reasonably spaced apart and moderately level. Utilities worked fine.
Lake was clean and quite nice. Would love to have kayaked, but it was rainy and cold most of the time.
Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
