Cricket Creek is our favorite Corp park on Tablerock. The sites are fairly level and long. The lake view is great. The restrooms are clean. We like to camp under the pines.

We were in site #19 for an overnight. The campground was clean, quiet and peaceful. It was easy to level our 34' motorhome, and there was plenty of room to park the toad. I don't believe any of the sites have lake views, but there are lots of trees and shade. The marina is a short walk up the road. There is also a swim beach, but we didn't check it out this trip. There is a pair of bald eagles nesting in the campground. Several sites were blocked off and not being used, I assume to give the eagles some space. Being able to watch them from our site was a special treat. Take binoculars and enjoy!
I will mention that you need to take the 2nd entrance into the campground in order to back into site 19. The signage didn't tell us that, but it was easy to turn around and come back in going the right direction. There are a couple of places across the road from the campground that worked well for unhooking and hooking up the toad. The gate was unattended while we were there, but we had reserved and paid on line, so no issue. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
