About Cricket Creek

Cricket Creek is a spacious and sunny campground located along the Long Creek Arm of Table Rock Lake in the Arkansas countryside. With panoramic views of the lake and the rocky bluffs, which rise above the water, Cricket Creek is one of the more scenic campgrounds in the area. Cricket Creek is very popular in the spring months of April & May, & has become very busy in the summer months as well. This is a great setting for visitors and campers to relax and enjoy the lake.

We’ve been going here for 30+ years and I truly felt like this was the best year yet. The weather was phenomenal. The grass was mowed and perfect height. Terry, was the kindest and most helpful tenant! She went out of her way and even gave my kids fruit snacks she carries with her! The bathrooms stayed clean constantly and it wasn’t overly packed. Truly an incredible experience this year!

My ONLY real recommendation for this site is that the swimming area (beach-side) could use a little work….update the landscaping for new gravel or sand…something along that line. Other than that…this my favorite campground on TBL, Bull Shoals, or Beaver

We stayed at Site 10 at Cricket Creek and really enjoyed the campground. It’s a smaller, quieter campground with a relaxed atmosphere and an easy drive in and out. Verizon service worked well during our stay, and the views around the marina are beautiful.

The sites were mostly level, making setup straightforward. One thing to note is that none of the campsites are directly on the water, so if you’re looking for a waterfront campsite, this may not be the campground for you. The swim beach is a fair distance from the campground, and some of the campground roads are fairly narrow, though we had no trouble navigating them with our RV.

Overall, this is a peaceful campground with nice scenery, good cell service, and a convenient location near the marina. We’d definitely consider staying here again.
