Tar Camp is very peaceful and quiet early in the morning the birds start to sing which was one of my favorite things to hear and the boats alot of fishing and meeting new people it was a very pleasant experience.

Excellent campsite, quiet and clean. The grass at the sites needed to be mowed, they were mowing the areas across from the sites.

Everything went well with our camping at Tar Creek except the 30 amp service kept kicking off. Fortunately we had a 50 to 30 amp converter that allowed us to connect.

(only thing that needs tending to is cleaning the drains in the shower but other than that, it was great!)

Many of the sites are backed up to the river. The area is beautiful.
