What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek Campground offers a beautiful, shaded environment with clean facilities and easy access to the lake, making it a popular choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained picnic areas. However, there have been concerns about safety, drainage issues in shower houses, and a few inconsistent amenities that could benefit from improvement.

The people who check you in are absolutely the best. I stay here quite often and they have always been helpful. Park is well maintained, deer everywhere. This place is relaxing the views are pretty good especially spot 96, 97 and 91.

Liked the shady area for camper. Parking camper is uneven, raised high to make level for the camper and hard backup the Camper for 30 ft and full size pickup. My hubby has to get another helper to guide to park the camper on site. It needs longer driveway or will be easier to pull in & out! The shower house is way other side. Don't like water faucet has timer and NO AC unit in Shower house or out house!

It’s a great place, and a good place to unwind with Greta views and good spots that feel private Although there isn’t much security and park officials don’t make rounds often, it’s rare they drive by and especially at night.
