What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek Campground offers a beautiful, shaded environment with clean facilities and easy access to the lake, making it a popular choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained picnic areas. However, there have been concerns about safety, drainage issues in shower houses, and a few inconsistent amenities that could benefit from improvement.

Nice to have electric and water at each site where we were (14), but noisy next to the road. The higher numbered sites were more roomy and quiet. Good value, especially with Golden Age passport.

We love this park and have been staying here for few years now. Clean spots and plenty of space.

Lovely area, but campground roads are narrow and the angle of campsites to back in is awkward in many sites, Also, the dump station is shown on rec.gov in a different location and it is not well marked at the new location.
Very busy campground, but restroom was clean.
