What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek Campground offers a beautiful, shaded environment with clean facilities and easy access to the lake, making it a popular choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained picnic areas. However, there have been concerns about safety, drainage issues in shower houses, and a few inconsistent amenities that could benefit from improvement.

We had a wonderful time camping in October & really like this area of Prairie Creek campground. However, we had two issues camping in site 36. First the one edge of the asphalt pad was eroded away, assuming by prior storm drainage. Second, the water access is 50’ away, not by the electric box. Be sure to have plenty of water hose. Other than that site 36 is a nice secluded spot.

The area is beautiful. It is close to Eureka Springs which is nice and the lake was very nice.

I am really falling in love with this place. The staff is helpful, the campers are friendly, and the views are spectacular for some. We have a small 15' Tab trailer and it fits on many sites that bigger RV's can't. If you have a smaller camper or a tent I highly recommend the upper numbered sites (90-100 or so) in that small, waterfront loop area. Don't go back in that area if you have a large RV. There's an uphill hairpin loop at the end of it and it is a trick to get around for even a small trailer. But, other parks of Prairie Creek are better suited for big rigs. The views are mostly forest and park settings but you can't see the lake from everywhere. The city of Rogers is just down the street although it seems you are miles from anywhere. Nice restaurants, convenience stores, liquor, Dollar General, etc. are all just down the street. I highly recommit y this park.

The park was very nice. The site was clean and shady, it was a little uneven but very usable. Even the vault toilet was good. The shower house was very clean. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the views. The lake was pretty.
