Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. Guests appreciated the amenities like the pavilion, boat ramp, and recreational activities, as well as the quiet atmosphere despite some nearby industrial noise. Always be sure you check your spot is free if you don't want to sit and wait, don't assume it will be. Seems like people are waiting later and later to check out.

This campground is extremely small with sites way too close for comfort. Trees are low and it is difficult for a fifth wheel to get into some spots. Most sites have difficult turns to back into and some portions of the road are super narrow. Camp host was great, bathrooms clean. Besides the view, there is nothing special or welcoming about this COE park. it is by far the smallest, closest quartered, least out door space I have seen in a campground.

This is an exceptional campground. Staff was excellent. Rangers very friendly. Place was very, very immaculate. One of the cleanest COE campgrounds I have ever been at. They have a huge recreation area on the back side of the campground. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay by the river. Saw several deer including a doe and her fawn and a red fox. The only problem we had was when we called to make the reservation the first employee told us a particular sight was not available. When we looked on line it was available. So, we called the second time and got a different employee and she said it was not available. We asked her to look again because online it was. She recanted and said it was and got our previous reservation moved to the desired location. Host was very helpful and friendly. The dump station was a bit tight and did not have easy access to water hydrant to rinse out our tank. We would have had to hook up a 25 foot hose to reach.

The host Junior bent over backwards to help out and make us feel comfortable. The park was beautiful and serene.

Park attendants were extra nice and very helpful. Very nice park. I didn’t like the mowers they went extremely fast up and down the roads and a rock hit my father-in-laws motor home. We had like 5 spots between me and my family. Awesome time

Really be nice if they could have a family movie nite setup someway.. Just for the campers tho. Also, they really need to replace the water hose at the dumping station, which hasn't been working for 3 years at least. It made it easier to clean up after dumping rather than have to stretch the hose several feet to the dump site. I have seen people stick that water hose way up their sewer hose, how sanitary is that?? One more complaint..which this isn't the first time, they should limit the amount of dogs that people can bring out to their site. And strictly enforce that they MUST clean up after their dogs and keep them from barking so much, so much for peace and quite. Grass was mowed, site was clean and as always the check-in people were super nice. And it would be nice if they could change the check out time till 1 o'clock.
