What Guests Are Saying
Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. Guests appreciated the amenities like the pavilion, boat ramp, and recreational activities, as well as the quiet atmosphere despite some nearby industrial noise. Negative experiences included encounters with rude neighbors and issues with ants, but overall, the positive aspects of the campground's cleanliness and staff support stand out.

Loved our stay but didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked do to the holidays with family that lived close. Great for bike riding. Level site. EASY back in and set up. Definitely want to return. Only negative was poor tv reception even with internet booster.

Such a nice, quiet park! Spaces are large, level, and wide enough that you’re not jammed in against your neighbors. The restroom/shower house was very clean. Close to both Russellville and Dardenelle for shopping or restaurants. The only thing is, the sign for the turn could be a LOT larger. We missed it and ended up making the narrow loop up by the river gatehouse—yikes. We will definitely go back to thus park!

Absolutely recommend! First time I’ve camped there! I even witnessed a bald eagle, then 2, then those two mating! Wow!

We stayed here late October in a 40-foot 5th-wheel toyhauler. Not many campers this time of year, so lots of room to spread out. Only bad thing was that there were ants (small sugar-ants) with hills that were EVERYwhere. Five weeks later and we are still finding them in our camper and can't seem to get rid of them Will not be returning, which is too bad cuz it's a nice campground otherwise.

The campground host was "at church" and we were unable to register on arrival.
We chose an unoccupied site and setup.
A couple hours later another camper arrived and had a registration for our site so we had to decamp and recamp.
It was a real pain tha tthe campground hose was not at her site during normal arrival times.

Well kept campground. Clean restrooms but there is a problem with non-campers using the facilities late at night & leaving a mess. The showers could use an upgrade too. The physically impaired shower used to have a fold down bench and the floors don’t drain well. Often find yourself standing in water to dry off & dresss.

No fault of the park but it rained most of our entire stay. With the tree coverage in the park and near park space could not receive any tv stations on tv. Would have been nice to watch the weather. Other than that it was a good stay!
