We only spent one night here arriving after midnight and leaving by 7am. We were happy to find a campground so close to I-40 that did not lock the gates at night so we were able to come in really late. Our site was spacious, the campground and bath house were both very clean. It looked like most, if not all sites were well shaded. We will definitely stay here again when travelling on I-40 in this area.

Beautiful and well maintained USACE park...we loved the park hosts....both were attentive and very friendly...

I did observe the cleaners every single day maintaining the park, especially thr bathrooms...

My only complaint is the showers were stuck in one position, HOT...no warm or cold...please fix it.....

Big rig friendly, we called the facility and the host was very helpful on the best way to go in. Really all the roads would have been good. The campground is close to town. Sites are large and level.

Would have been excellent except for the EXTREME ANT PROBLEM. Camp host nice, offered granules to sprinkle on the ground AFTER our RV and car were both full of ants. Yes I tried to prevent with DE, but they crawled the electric cord and water hose resulting in an infestation. Lovely park, EXTREME ANT PROBLEM. Beware.

It's a Beautiful park, clean and well kept. It's nice having water and as well as electricity. I would give it FIVE STARS except for the Ants!
We had a total invasion while we were out visiting family! It was horrible! The floor was black with them. My husband made an emergency run to the store for ant spray while I did the "ant stomp shuffle." Other than that, it was great!

Nice campground, easy access. Fairly typical USACE site with _clean_ restrooms and reasonably spaced sites. Pretty convenient to the freeway if passing thru. I'd definitely stay there again.
