Beards Bluff is a beautiful campsite facing Millwood Lake! The park staff is very friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed the 3 nights we were there and plan to camp there again next year!

Great small Army Corps of Engineers campground. Site were well spaced, mostly level, and mostly shaded. The bath and shower building was aged, but clean and well maintained. Clean power and good tasting water.

We have been here 2 times in the last several months and the park is always pristine. Both times we have visited we have been greeted with the nicest camp hosts helpful and knowledgeable about the area!

Jeff, host, helped when I arrived and recommended site. GREAT. Dates of stay was on site post. Jeff informed me on early morning of last date that I should have been gone already. He checked on his phone, said he was sorry he was wrong, but if I needed another day , since " beginning of new month that I could start again". Knew he was wrong but just broke camp and left as planned.

Our reserved site was flooded and was moved to higher ground. The one restroom in park was not cleaned the 6 days there. Very NASTY. Trash cans were all full. Volunteer droved thru park several times a day and never checked restroom.
This is a very loud park, situated near hwy with MANY LOUD logging trucks going and coming from Ashdown, AR from dark morning to dark evening. Not a park problem but is a sound problem for campers.
Will not be back to this park.

The campground is right on the lake, beautiful and beautifully maintained. Sites are large, some have shades over the picnic tables. Park staff was very friendly. Sites 6 and 9 are closest to the lake.
