Nice quiet campground right on the lake. Lots of birds and butterflies this trip. Last September I saw an alligator but not this go round. Cell service works just fine for me (ATT). I was able to stream some Netflix, talk on the phone, and text with no issues. The camp hosts are great and are there if you need them. There is a small store a few miles away across the dam. You are about 25-30 min from Historic Washington State Park and about that same distance to Hope. All sites have lots of big older trees with shade (except for the one pull through spot right at the lake. It is a nice spot but sun does hit it most of the day it looked like).

Quite/safe park, very clean, and the camp host are always so awesome!! We have been staying at this campground for years and we have a favorite site. All the sites are nice and easy to back into or pull through with your camper or camper van. Electric/water at most sites. It's a great stopping pt from South LA on our adventures to North AR and Southern MO. The sunset is beautiful over Millwood Lake. The bath houses are nice as well, hot showers, private facilities. Thank you guys for your hard work and making this one of our favorite campgrounds in Arkansas.

Nice smaller park. Old fish cleaning station needs to be converted into a gray water dump site. Too dangerous to go across ark 32 to dump dragging a tank with all the log truck traffic between the two curves. Ark dot needs to put in turn lane between entrances of park and dump site, would be easy to do with base already on the shoulder only needs to put down asphalt
