The campground was in very good condition and we liked there was a swimming spot / take out area for floating there on the property. We would definitely come stay again!
The only downfall was the hikes. We wished the paths would have been cleared better. We enjoy hiking but my kids didn't like plants always touching their legs. But we just went swimming instead.

We stayed on lot 16, it was not as close to the river as we anticipated, but the showers and restrooms were thankfully nearby. We visited Blanchard Springs Caverns, about an hour away. It was the most beautiful cavern I have ever visited, it was worth the money and trip. We later bought inflatable tubes and hiked from Grinder’s Ferry to Tyler’s Bend. The hike was beautiful and peaceful. We floated from Tyler’s Bend back to Grinder’s Ferry (where I parked my car). Unfortunately, we had to leave the campsites early because of the rampant tick population. The two of us had a total of 6 ticks on us, including a lone star tick. Later, we discovered innumerable ticks crawling at our campsite grounds around our feet and tent. There is currently an outbreak in the Southern US of ticks and it would have been helpful to know this before hiking!! I hope that Arkansas Parks will advise campers in the future of the tick population, especially during the summertime.

This campground is beautiful! Lots of shade for tent camping. The showers and restrooms were very clean, with hot water! My group and I felt right at home camping at Tyler Bend. We will definitely be returning

Beautiful campground. Wish there were some electrical sites. And someone really needs to spray the poison ivy at the campsites. It’s bad. But gorgeous spot on the river.

Great campground hosts! The facilities are very clean. Group sites are well spaced with flat grassy areas. Restrooms are close by. Easy access to the river from group area. Beware the raccoons near the groups sites, they have zero fear of people.

Campground is an excellent place to escape for a few days. Close to the beautiful Buffalo River and the campground was in incredible condition, clean and no trash. Campground host was extremely nice, friendly and offered help in any way.

The campsite was nice and tucked away from other sites, except for the one right next to it. However, it was a little walk to the shower house and a good walk to get to the river. The shower house was pretty gross. The larger shower area had a very bad smell and hair all over the walls. I notified the ranger of the used personal items under the bench in the shower. She was very nice.
