We loved the campground right on the water. We have paddleboards and e-bikes and used them everyday. We visited the hatchery and the JFK memorial at the dam. The river was cold and fun to splash in. We will bring kayaks next time. Most beautiful sunsets too!

I have a 36ft 5th wheel, couldn’t use the camper at this spot. It has so deep of a drop off that the rear of my camper was dragging the asphalt bad

It was a pretty nice campground. We stayed on A30. The site was VERY unlevel. The nearest bathhouse was pretty far away. The water and view were nice. If we go back we will probably try a different campground.

From Heber Springs, AR, take SR-25 6.25 miles north to SR-25S. Travel SR-25S 3 miles west and follow signs to campground.
The campground is accessible via State Route 25, which connects to other local roads in the area.
Elevation: 155 feet
4.3 mi drive to downtown Tumbling Shoals (about 10 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- Attendant is on duty during peak season.
- One wheeled camping unit and two tents or four tents are allowed per site. Maximum of 8 occupants per site.
- ATV's, golf carts or off-road vehicles are prohibited.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.

- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
