We were so pleased with the trip to this campground! At night, we set under the Milky Way for hours, saw 3 falling stars. The days, we visited the old Town of Rush, we hiked, we went into the little town of Yellville one day and shopped. Our campsite had a glorious view of the river and the shower house-restroom was clean and convenient. The Park Ranger gave us maps to all hiking trials. We will be back next year.

The RV camp sites are very nice and shaded. The views were very scenic- especially the River bluffs. The picnic tables and fire pits are handy. I would suggest better signage on the road going thru the park. We were not sure where to go when we came to the turnoff for the group sites- which way were the RV camp sites? A sign at the group site turnoff pointing to the RV loops would have been helpful. Don’t want to go the wrong direction pulling an RV. :)
The camp host and rangers were very courteous. The showers facilities were nice as well.

The campsites and the river were both amazing. My only complaint is the bathroom showers. There were no shelves or hooks in the shower to put your clothes or soap, you also couldn’t adjust the temperature of the water which was too hot for a shower in August.
