Beautiful area, with a great swimming hole! The river Ranger walks the beach often to answer questions.
Outfitters nearby to rent kayaks, canoes, tubes, fishing gear. We were pleased to find restroom/shower houses within the camping areas (showers were closed due to Covid). Enjoyed having electric and water hookups, and a dump station on the driveway out.
Be sure to drive to Rush ghost town and hike the interpretive trails!
Excellent experience for our first trip to the Buffalo River!

This is a great place to visit, good facilities for people that electric and water right at their campsite. We kayak and fish which is a good time but the scenery and environment are outstanding, very relaxing. We saw bald eagles and a duck swam along with us for about a mile. I look forward to this trip every year!

We had a great time with our granddaughters. The camphost went over their junior ranger booklets so they could earn their badge. They loved getting to ride their bikes, play in the river and hiking.

This was one of the best camping trips we have ever been on. The camp ground has the perfect combination of hiking and water activities. Make sure to bring blocks for your camper, site D70 is really too small for a 28’ camper. Shady and cool nearly all day. All around great place. Totally disconnect with no cell service at the camp sites, but if you must there is service at the top of the hill by the restaurant. I would highly recommend this campground.
