The buffalo is incredible so I guess I'll keep coming back BUT. Bathrooms need some repair, sinks not working.
Lazy cleaning people took about 5 minutes cleaning bathrooms.
Most campsites need more gravel and drainage work.
Ours had a huge pond where our trailer door landed.
Rangers replay, after seeing our problem "we can't stop the rain"
Just fill the pond!
And proper walkways to the water is a necessity before someone gets hurt!
Not even close to ADA requirements.
Just because it stays full doesn't mean you can neglect the park.

Been a wonderful experience for 47 summers. Children then grandchildren then great grandchildren have grown up visiting the Buffalo. We all start planning for the next year as soon as we get home. Memories are made every year. How can a river bring such pleasure to all age groups? We know how!

Group sites are very rocky. Level spots for tents at this group site are in the low areas and terrible in the rain. No showers within walking distance.

Site we were in was very unlevel and washed away that made getting out of the rv challenging.

Extremely quiet and peaceful. Rangers were helpful and present throughout the day. Campsite was level and grass areas well maintained. Trails could be better marked and bathrooms, while clean, needed maintenance. We had some electrical surges and there was. Power outage during our stay. Installing a canoe and kayak lift from the parking lot would be helpful…the banks are very streep at this part of the river.
