We site indicated that the trails at Buffalo Point were an exception to the no dogs on trail rile, but that was not the case. Almost all trails there were not pet friendly.

A very unusual national park service campground as it offers showers, likely a carryover from its state park heritage.

One of our favorite campgrounds in Arkansas. Heavily treed sites, beautiful views and right on the Buffalo river for amazing floating. The only item to be aware of is that if you travel with your pet they can only hike with you on 3 trails. Not really sure why.

This site at this campground is on the top of my list for quite getaways. Hiking and paddling are awesome in the heart of beautiful country.

It was an awesome experience. The park rangers and camp host were very helpful in answering questions. The campsite area has very little or no cell phone service which is fine with us, got a well needed break from the electronics. Bring a good book. Hiked the Scenic and Indian Rock House trails which are well maintained and easy hike. Nearest town is 14 miles away, suggest bring what you need into the park. RV sites were spread out which gave us a great camping experience. Worth the trip from Birmingham, AL, will do again.

Great campsite. Quiet and well maintained. Park ranger was very helpful and friendly. Fun hiking trails and a gray couple days paddling the river.
