Path to the river by C54 is really overgrown. Only one sink faucet worked, the handicap shower didn't work and the other shower would not shut off completely and the bathrooms were dirty. The ranger information center was closed, the visitors center was closed, the restaurant was closed, the concession stand was closed. The park just looked shoddy, not like it used to. I guess people don't care anymore or maybe have no pride in their job? I love it when my tax money is well appropriated!!!

Campground was well organized and clean. I had water and electric hook ups at my camp site and believe that most of the sites in my campground loop had these hook ups. The bath/shower house were fairly decent and reasonably clean. The showers were okay to use and better than not having any shower at all.
The sewer dump was good except for the water hose connection that should have been able to be used for flushing out the black tank, but the nozzle was not a threaded nozzle and basically just a spout. You could shoot water out to rinse things off, but unable to connect to the RV for cleaning assistance/flushing.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- Water and electricity services are unavailable from November 15th to March 14th yearly.

- Camping is free outside of the reservation season.
Safety & rules
- Climbing or diving from bluffs is highly discouraged for safety reasons.
- Swimming alone during high water conditions is prohibited for safety reasons.
Pets
- Pets are not allowed on park trails except for designated trails listed in the rule.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.
Local regulations
- Special events require a Special Use Permit beyond pavilion reservations.
- Business services are prohibited without proper authorization or permit in the park.
