It was quiet and all but too much of difference than looking at their pictures of the campground. Very small campground with not much to do around so I had to go to the KOA campground to use bike trails paying for parking $5 and spent my time there.
The host was not very helpful finding bike trails around and seemed very reluctant to describe nearby area for unknown reasons.
I haven't gone to their hiking trail because I was not there for hiking to begin with and hopefully this helps for future visitors

Everything here is very well kept. The camp host does a great job of making sure things are orderly and the restrooms are clean and stocked. The area is amazing and the hiking trails are excellent. It was a great trip. I would have given it a 5 star but we were kept up the entire 2nd night by a barking dog somewhere in the campground. I know this isn’t anyones fault but it really impacted our stay and I’m not sure how someone can get away with allowing their dog to bark all night.

We stayed one night in transit and found this to be a very pleasant and comfortable spot and we would stay again. Barely outside the suburbs of Temecula, it is woodsy with lovely spreading oaks. Saturday night was enjoyably quiet. It would be easy to stock up on supplies in Temecula, including firewood. There seems to be a trail but since we were in transit we didn’t try it; we saw hiking groups pass by. The equestrian sites appear to be on an upper level - that’s hard to tell from the 2D map. (Early Feb. 2022 there was road construction near the entrance which made it easy to miss.) All in all a good spot.

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
