Amazing campgrounds! My family is relatively new to camping, but this was one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at. (Unfortunately our belligerent neighbors had to be the worst neighbors we’ve had, but I won’t hold that against the campgrounds.) Flush toilets and showers were a luxury and the campsites were huge and flat. The only complains were that the highway could be heard from site 51 and that coyotes were too active - one literally scampered across the edge of our campsite so watch out for your pets!

Campsite was clean and with nearby access to potable water and restrooms with a sink and flush toilet. Picnic bench and level parking area. Quiet and beautiful site. Staff watchful but discreet.
Had a nice time and was able to hit the trail at 0-dark-30.

Amazing host, clean restrooms and hot showers. Shower drainage needs to be serviced but works. There are yellow jackets but not too bad. Camps sites are well maintained and plenty of shades. You wont be disappointed.

Site 49 needs lots of help. It was full of rocks and no level surface to set up a tent. I wouldn't recommend site 49 but the other sites around us where good. Parking pads where small and didn't allow room for our awning tent that is attached to our car, luckily we brought a ground tent. Almost put a couple holes in the floor from all the rocks though. There was not good area to set up.

San Gorgonio campground is the perfect getaway for summer fun! Lots of trees and shade, clean bathrooms, and good access to hiking trails like the Santa Ana River Trail and South Fork Trail to Poopout Hill. One drawback for campgrounds along Highway 38 is the close proximity to the occasional traffic noise.
