Camp Host, Eric, was great! Very helpful and informative. Restrooms with flush toilets clean and well stocked. Solar power giving light at night was wonderful. Didn't see the Bears but did see their tracks! Beware of the red ants!

Lovely place. So great to be out of the SoCal heat, the only thing that was less than amazing were the bugs, but once snug in my tent they weren't a problem. Loved our visit ❤️

Always great at San G. Site was huge, far from neighbors and felt very private even though it wasnt. Good mix of sun and shade, plenty of hammock spots . Wood sold on site. Pretty secluded overall, just not a lot of people there in late may so felt like a hidden gem. Host recommended trying sites 28, 44 and 18 next time, though I really like this one.

It was my first time camping in the forest and I couldn’t have asked for a better camp ground. Our campsite had the most beautiful view of the moon, and at night we can hear the coyotes howling. The bathrooms and showers were always clean, and the showers had hot water. The host was very nice and he did rounds on his golf cart every now and then to check up on everyone. Overall, my only complaint was the lack of a general store nearby but I can really blame my lack of preparation on the campground.

Our group had a great time at this campsite. Staff were friendly, bathrooms clean, environment was nice. A lot of families, with campsites quite close together and a lot of dusty land, but beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and sounds of coyotes at night. Great, easy hikes in the surrounding area.

Eric is awesome. Friendly, helpful and keeps the camp quite at night and clean during the day. Lets you know what's going on around the area to plan your adventures. Been going here since 2004. He is definitely the best camp host yet. I also take my boy scout troop here every year. The kids and parents love it.

My neighbor was a group of people showing no respect of other campers and ignore the camp ground quiet time rule. They played loud music at midnight, laughed and talked until 2am. They were having a party, but to other campers were having a nightmare. I'll never go to this campground any more.
