This was our first time at San Gorgonio and we really enjoyed the campsite. We went on a Sunday-Tuesday so it was pretty quiet and relaxing. We were able to hike around the campsite to explore around and the bathrooms had warm water to shower with. Bathrooms were pretty clean and our camp host, Erin was the sweetest and pleasant host we’ve ever had. We will be returning to San Gorgonio again in the future.

Recommend going to Jenks Lake. However, with the fires the lake doesn’t have as much water. Please check ahead of time and be prepared to pay a parking fee.
If you take a trailer there is a dumping station a camp over at Barton Flats.

Visiting during a weekday was the best decision. I rode in with a few fellas on our Harley Davidson’s, we camped for one night. Your experience will be a 100% better if you make friends with the Attendant on site. Eric the attendant was a humble man, and had great stories to share with us. Bring ample food & water. There is a gas station / convenient store about 15 miles away, they do close at 8:00 PM.
