Our family has been going camping in late June for the past 15 years. We usually get 2 or 3 sites for family and friends who also come with us. We typically camp at Heartbar campground as we love the location, the views, and family friendliness of the site, but were really disappointed about it's closure again this year due to the roads and sites being washed out. So this year we stayed at San Gorgonio and wow we were impressed! We rented 4 sites (2 doubles and 2 singles). We had an amazing time. I'll give the pros and cons.

Pros:
1. Super family friendly
2. Our campers loved the showers (hot water and super clean). We dry camp so this was a huge plus.
3. Dads enjoyed the flushable toilets. :)
4. Wonderful hiking trails...we took several hikes and saw some amazing scenery.
5. SHADE, SHADE, SHADE! We really loved this part. It was even better than Heartbar and good thing because it was in the 90s.
6. Plenty of space to play corn hole, horseshoes, etc.
7. Camp hosts were wonderful and fun to talk to

Cons
1. A bit closer to the street (38) so you do hear car noise, but it's not too bothersome
2. Smaller - so for my teenage kids they didn't do much riding of their bikes like they have in the past

So the Pros definitely outweigh the cons and would highly recommend this site. We will be back next year for sure!

Site 16. The camp hosts were efficient and communicated clearly the camp rules. The site was clean as were the rest rooms. There are short hike trails within the campground which were enjoyable. The weather was above average, not windy or too hot. We had an excellent camping experience.

The camp host did a great job keeping the bathrooms clean! We were not able to book a group site so we got two other sites. The party that reserved the group site never showed. If you reserve a site, please use it or cancel it so that others might enjoy.

I have been to this campsite many times and weekends the site is slammed. Can get noisy from inconsiderate people and bathroom/showers can get messy. The camp host are trying there best, but can't keep up when you have people that don't clean up after themselves. However, during the weekdays the site is absolute great.

Over crowded with too many people in sites. Bathrooms and showers were no maintained. Ran out of toilet paper for 2 days. Faucets on sinks were not bolted down. Had to take cold showers with no hot water. Have camped here several times in my life, and this was the worst experience.
